2007

 

We just wanted to update our loved ones on what has been going on in our family in the last year. We realize that this time of year is very exciting and even busier, and that is why Aimee and I have decided to fill all of our loved ones in on what is happening in our lives.

Our New Family:

 As you all probably remember we were married June 23, 2007 and what a special day it was. We were able to verbalize our commitment and love to one another, for the rest of our lives, in front of all of our loved ones. Thank you all very much for making our wedding day such a special event. Without wasting time we decided to start our family. We are expecting our first child in early April and what a wonderful feeling that has brought into our home. Te excitement and preparation has been even more exciting, and we feel blessed to be expecting a new baby into our new family.

Tommy:

Entered his 3rd year as an assistant baseball coach at Metro State College of Denver. He is very excited about the upcoming year. “We have a great group of kids and they are very talented, I have high expectations for this year.” He has also been going through the process to obtain an insurance license, so we can build a bright future for our family. We will be selling all lines of insurance and financial services through Farmers Insurance Group.

Aimee:

Is getting ready to complete her 2nd year as a insurance agent and agency owner, and is doing extremely well. She has received awards such as Blue Vase and Topper’s Club, and is consistently in the top 5 agents in her district month after month. Thank all of you who have supported her in building her book of business. By the time this holiday letter reaches your home, we will have hired our second employee, and expanded our agency to 2 full time agents, 1 part time producer, and 1 part time customer service representative.

Amore:

Still the wild and crazy one of our dogs. She is a 65lb black lab. She is 3 years old and is very excited to be getting a new little sibling. She hopes that the baby can throw the ball for her all day, and become best play buds.

Toby:

Still as loving as ever and the only 100lb lap dog we have ever known. He is a 2 year old yellow lab. His loyalty and big heart are second to none. If we all could love like Toby loves the world would definitely be a better place. He is also very happy about the baby. He hopes the baby wants to cuddle and do nothing but sleep.

Peetri:

Is our newest addition to the family. She is an all white kitty that was given to Aimee from Tommy as a wedding present. Aimee loves cats and had her cat (Bogart) die in the fall of 2006 and she misses him so much. Peetri had definitely filled a small part of the void that Bogart left behind. Peetri is a little confused, she has been raised by Toby and Amore and thinks that she is a dog. She fetches, comes to her name being called, and even cries at us when it is time to eat.

The Baby:

This is the first child for both of us. It is difficult to explain what a sense of excitement and energy that this has brought into our life and relationship. The baby has brought us closer together and our love has grown to even higher levels.

We hope this catches everybody up with the Skul family. We just wanted everybody to know that you are very special and we love that you are in our lives. Bless you all have a wonderful new year.
